Pentax 645 Lenses on Fuji GFX
I’ve recently purchased Fuji GFX as an entry into the medium format digital world. My impressions of using Pentax 645 Manual lenses from the film era on this system
a Fallen Friend
This video is about my walks in the local woods and the stories I often find. This time it is about, what I saw as, a fallen friend. Comrade. A fellow soldier. I found it very telling that the four friends were holding this fallen friend in the lap. It was dying. And the magical fungi completing the dust-to-dust cycle.
Reject Pile - Number 2
Continuing discussion from the last thread here , I found another very old image from 2005 I re-processed. The image was made during a drive to a national park at River Selke. Segregation
Many people ask about my approach to photography. It has evolved over the years and will continue to do so. Learning should never end.

I could then sense that their flying is linked to my inner feeling of longing for freedom. Longing to be outside. Be alive. And then they decided to fly to the moon.
There and Back Again! Re-learning large format photography
Re-learning all things 4x5 was fun and a challenge albeit an easier one compared to a decade or so ago. These days YouTube and search engines in general will throw a lot of options at you. This is an article about my re-entry into large format photography.

Loxia 21mm for Sony mirrorless cameras. Is this the best wide angle lens on the planet?
Cadair Idris Revisited
This was my first outdoor multi-pitch climb and boy I was in for a surprise. This was a great experience and weather was just what I love. Lots of fog and atmosphere, windy enough to clear the clouds in between, exhilarating multi-pitch climb, and one of the best sunsets with unparalleled vantage point. What more can one ask for.
