One Mountain : Stob Dearg - Buachaille Etive Mor
I'm lucky to have climbed and hiked many mountains around the world. Nothing earth shattering. Mostly limited to circa 3000m+. While living in Munich Herzogstand and Jochberg were the "liebling" mountains. While browsing through climbing magazine in early 2002 I came across a picture of this mountain in Scotland. I knew I will have to climb it one day. The day finally arrived about 12 years later in 2014.
Where the elves live!
Glencoe is a magical place. This camping trip was on my mind for over 10 years. That is a long gestation period by any standard. However it just did not come together. And I'm glad it happened last summer. I had a good company of two chaps who were going to camp and hike for the first time in their life.
