Just how good is the Canon FD 35mm/f2.8 SSC TS lens?
Short answer: Very Good.
You can check out my review done a couple of years back here. This is now my go-to lens for a landscape trip along with Loxia 21mm and Canon EOS 90mm TS-E lens. If I can carry more weight or the hike isn’t strenious then the Sony 70-200/f4OSS comes along too. Here are some of the images made during Christmas hike in Wales. Below are some of the screenshots at 100%. The final files are close to 7500 pixels on the longest side. That will allow me print this at least 35” easily in the longest dimension. I’ve never printed that big. One of the reasons I still use Sony A7ii as it is more than enough for me.
