Here comes KodakAeroEktar 178mm

I’ve been a huge fan of portait and landscape work using black and white film. I’ve been using large format cameras for many years now. I’ve been keeping an eye on this old camera and lens combination, Graflex Speed Graphic and Kodak AeroEktar 178mm lens. Thanks to Dave, for pushing and encouraging me to go for this setup. Our conversation started some two years ago and finally had this camera just before Christmas.
National lockdown meant it was difficult to find time to do any shooting. However there was a small window of opportunity and both Gaurav and Radha kindly agreed for the fun ride.
The camera works very differently to the other field or monorail cameras. It has built in shutter and hence one can use barrel lenses (without shutter). I may do a detailed vidoe journal whenever possible. In the meanwhile here are some images to enjoy.
