Harmony

Sometimes things just come together and there is harmony of elements. I absolutely loved the meandering river in the German/Austrian alps. It was snowing the whole day and there was some clearing towards the end of the day.

I’ve seen fiery alpenglow and this was in comparison quite pale. But, the peak catching the last light and some of the snow-laden trees lit up by the orange of the setting sun just brings everything together. A great memory.

2009. Canon 5D with 45mm Tilt and Shift. 2° tilt for depth of field and two horizontal images using the shit. It was then merged using Photoshop for a seamless square version.
